친구들과 놀던 Charlie가 갑자기 몸이 좋지 않아 병원에 가게 됐어요. Lucy가 걱정이 많아 보이네요. 

Charlie가 어서 나아야 할 텐데요. 어떤 일이 벌어질지 함께 볼까요?

Charlie :  Oh, I don't feel so good. 

Charlie :  오, 나 몸이 안 좋은 것 같아.
Linus : What's wrong? Charlie Brown.

Linus : 왜 그래? Charlie Brown.
Lucy : He's probably been hit on the head by too many fly balls.

Lucy : 걔 분명히 뜬공에 머리를 너무 많이 맞아서 그런 걸거야.
Charlie :  I think. I'll go home.

Charlie :  난 집에 가봐야 겠어.
Lucy : Yes, sir, too many fly balls. 

Lucy :네, 선생님 뜬공이 너무 많았어요. 
Charlie :  Yes, ma'am, my name is Charles Brown. I think I have an emergency.

Charlie :  네 선생님, 제 이름은 Charies Brown이에요. 아무래도 제가 응급 상황인것 같아요. 
Sally : Hello, no. I'm his sister, Sally Brown. He's in the hospital? But he will feed the dog. 

Sally : 여보세요, 아니오. 저는 여동생이고 이름은. Sally Brown 이예요. 오빠가 병원에 있다고요? 하지만 오빠는 개밥 줘야 하는데. 
Charlie :  I wonder if I'm dying. I wonder if they'd tell me I was dying. I wonder if the little red-haired girl rushed to my side. I've got to stop thinking about things like that.

Charlie : 난 내가 죽어가는지 궁금해. 그들이 내가 죽어 간다고 말할지도 궁금해. 빨간머리 소녀가 내옆에 달려왔을지도 궁금해. 이런 생각은 그만 해야겠어.
Lucy : I can't believe that Charlie Brown is still in the hospital. What if he never gets better? It's not fair. 

Lucy: Charlie Brown이 아직도 병원에 있다니 믿기지 않아. 만약 그애가 낫지 않은면? 그건 불공평해. 
Linus : It's strange, you're so upset because you treat him so poorly. Stop wiping your tears on my piano.
Sally says Charlie Brown isn't feeling any better, and she's moving her things into his room. 

Linus : 그 애한테 못되게 굴었으면서 속상해 하는게 좀 어색하네. 내 피아노로 눈물 닦지마.
Sally가 Charlie Brown은 더 나아지지 않았데, 그리고 자기 물건들을 Charlie방으로 옮기고 있다던데. 
Lucy : I know you can't hear me, Charlie Brown, but if you get better, I promise I'll never pull the football away again. 

Lucy : Charlie Brown 네가 들을 수 없다는 건 알지만, 만약 네가 나으면, 약속 할게 다신 네 축구공을 빼앗지 않을게. 
Linus : That's quite a promise.

Linus : 그거 상당한 약속인걸.
Lucy : I bet he feels better already. 

Lucy : 확신하는데 걔는 벌써 나았을거야.
Charlie :  You know, I suddenly feel great.

Charlie :  갑자기 몸이 좋아졌네.
Lucy : Charlie Brown, you're back, you're well! 

Lucy : Charile Brown, 너 돌아왔구나, 다 나았어.
Charlie :  I heard something about a promise. 

Charlie :  내다 약속에 대해 들은게 있는데 말이야.  
Lucy : Oh, good grief!

Lucy : 세상에!
Charlie :  Remember, you promised you have to let me kick the football. 

Charlie :  내가 공을 찰 때 내버려 두기로 약속한 거 기억해.  
Linus : I don't know about this, Charlie Brown. 

Linus : 난 이거에 대해 모르겠어. Charlie Brown.
Charlie :  There's no stopping me now. 

Charlie :  여기 날 막을 건 없어.
Linus : I can't look! 

Linus : 차마 볼 수가 없어. 
Lucy : Well, I did it! I kept my promise. I didn't pull the football away. 

Lucy : 음, 난 해냈어. 약속을 지켰다고. 난 공을 빼앗지 않았어.
Charlie :  Yes, and I messed up and kicked you instead of the football. I'm sorry. Is there anything I can do? 

Charlie :  그래, 내가 망친거야. 공대신 너를 찼어. 미안해. 내가 할 수 있는 일이 있을까?
Lucy : Yes, next time you go to the hospital, stay there.

Lucy : 응, 만약 다음번에 병원에 가게 되면 거기서 살아.

 

 

자주 쓰이는 영어 회화 패턴/표현/단어:

 

I don't feel good : 몸이 안 좋은 것 같아. ('기분이 좋지 않다'라는 의미로 쓰이기도 하지만 컨디션이 좋지 않을 때도 쓰여요.)

I think : ~인 것 (/할 것) 같아. ('내 생각에는' 이라는 의미에서 확장 되어 '~해야 할 것 같다'라는 의미로도 쓰입니다.)
