“선착순”이라는 말 다들 자주 듣거나 쓰셔 보셨죠?

한자의 뜻을 그대로 풀면, '먼저 도착하는 순서'라는 의미인데요.

가게나 행사장에서 선착순 입장이나 선착순 증정을 많이들 하죠. 군대나 운동선수의 훈련에서도 자주 쓰이고요.

“선착순”은 영어로 하면 “First come, first served”라고 합니다. 말 그대로 선착순으로 대접을 받는 거죠.
